This video started because of the song, which is a splicing from the Cirque du Soleil show Love. It evolved into an attempt to draw a few parallels to the worlds of Sam and Alex and how Gene fits into that world. I also think it hints vaguely at Sam/Gene, but then again, so do the shows.
